Bring the profound grace and spiritual awakening of the Jordan River into your home with this masterfully handcrafted wooden icon of the Baptism of Christ.
This exquisite Catholic and Orthodox devotional artwork beautifully captures the foundational biblical moment of Christ's Epiphany. It portrays a serene Jesus Christ standing in the waters of the Jordan River with hands clasped in prayer, as Saint John the Baptist pours holy water over His head. Above them, God the Father watches from heavenly clouds with an open hand, while the Holy Spirit descends as a radiant white dove, casting a brilliant, warm golden glow across the entire sacred scene. Crafted with exceptional care, this piece is a striking addition to any home altar, prayer corner, or church sanctuary.
  • Powerful Theophany Imagery: Visually manifests the Holy Trinity—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—during Jesus's baptism, serving as an inspiring symbol of renewal, faith, and spiritual rebirth.
  • Artisan Faux-Gesso Texture: The vivid image is carefully printed onto a specialized textured base layer that mimics the organic, classic feel of a traditional gesso  canvas.
  • Hand-Gilded Metallic Highlights: Accented by hand using authentic loose leaf gold within the divine rays radiating from the Holy Spirit, making the heavenly light shimmer beautifully under ambient lighting or candlelight.
  • Premium Double-Lacquer Protection: Sealed with multiple layers of high-grade clear lacquer before and after the gilding process, providing a robust, scratch-resistant, and long-lasting finish.
  • Solid Wood Block Panel: Set on a thick, premium wooden block with naturally aged, dark, rustic edges that underscore its authentic, handmade character.

Measures 13 cm wide by 17 cm high — an ideal size for a home altar, shelf, or wall display.

I bought this small wooden art piece to help a newlywed couple build their first home altar. The intense, warm colors and heavenly clouds look stunning under any light. International transport took a bit, but the item was cradled perfectly in safety foam.

Stunning ordination gift for a young priest. This classic depiction of St. John baptizing Jesus is a wonderful reminder of pastoral duties. The dark wood borders give it a solemn, traditional appearance. The shop provides spectacular customer service and highly protective wrapped boxes.

A beautiful heirloom for my grandson. I purchased this to pass down the faith to the next generation. The portrayal of the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost all together teaches the gospel visually. Even with overseas shipping delays, the secure box arrival made the wait completely irrelevant.

Our church staff wanted to thank a dedicated educator, and this small wooden block icon was ideal. The presentation on its mini tripod looks incredibly professional and elite.

A friend of mine was praying through a difficult pregnancy, so I gifted her this icon of the infant Churchs beginning at the Jordan. The serene imagery brought her so much comfort. The shop wrapped it tightly in bubble wrap, protecting it perfectly during long-distance transit.
